Reminiscing early school years

East Loddon Consolidated School, Grade 2, 1967. Teacher Miss Benson.

Here I am, my last year at East Loddon. Second row from the top, second pupil on the right. Julie Challis. Some of these people I reconnected with, while playing netball at Yarrawalla in late 1970's, or in the case of Julie Duffy (front row, second from right) while nursing.

Miss Benson was my favorite teacher ever and when she retired at the end of 1967, I sent her my savings, 15 cents I think it was, and she was going to buy a plant and name it Julie.

This is my first attempt at a blog, so please forgive any faux pas!
